Azulix 1 MF Tablet PR is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults by controlling blood sugar levels. It is a combination of two anti-diabetic drugs and should be taken with food regularly at the same time each day for the most benefit. It is important to not stop taking this medicine without consulting a doctor, as it can cause blood sugar levels to rise and put the patient at risk of serious health problems.

The most common side effect of Azulix 1 MF Tablet PR is low blood glucose levels (hypoglycemia). Patients should be aware of the signs of low blood glucose levels, such as sweating, dizziness, headache, and shaking, and should always carry a fast-acting source of glucose such as sugary food or fruit juice with them. Other side effects that may be seen with this medicine include taste changes, nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, and upper respiratory tract infections. Some people may also experience weight gain with this medicine. Drinking alcohol can increase the risk of low blood sugar levels and should be avoided.

This medicine is not suitable for patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus, diabetic ketoacidosis (high levels of acid in the blood), or severe kidney or liver disease. Patients with a history of heart disease should inform their doctor before taking this medicine as it may not be suitable. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking Azulix 1 MF Tablet PR. Blood sugar levels should be checked regularly, and patients may also need blood tests to monitor their blood cell counts and liver function. This medicine should be used as part of a treatment program that also includes a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by a doctor.
