Bandy-Plus Suspension is an anti-worm medicine that is effective in treating various parasitic worm infestations such as roundworm and tapeworm infections in children. It works by paralyzing and preventing the worms from absorbing the body's energy, which eventually leads to their death.

To administer Bandy-Plus Suspension to your child, give it by mouth, preferably with a fat-containing food such as milk. This helps the medicine get absorbed better by your child's body. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, give the same dose again. However, do not give a double dose if it is time for the next scheduled dose. The duration of treatment will vary depending on the type of worm your child is infected with.

Usually, a single dose is given, but in some cases, the doctor may prescribe multiple doses over a few days or weeks.

Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, flatulence, loss of appetite, hair fall, mild fever, and sore throat are common, temporary side effects of Bandy-Plus Suspension. In rare cases, this medicine may cause bleeding, which is a severe side effect. If your child experiences persistent or bothersome side effects or bleeding, you should contact your child's doctor immediately.

It is essential to inform your child's doctor if your child has a history of medication allergies, seizures, liver or kidney problems, stomach issues, or blood disorders before giving this medicine. The doctor may need to adjust the dosage or plan a different course of treatment accordingly.
