Razo 20 Tablet is a medication used to reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach, and it is commonly used for treating acid-related conditions such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and other stomach conditions. It is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity associated with the prolonged use of painkillers. Razo 20 Tablet is classified as a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), and it works by inhibiting the proton pumps in the stomach's cells, which reduces acid production.

The recommended dose of Razo 20 Tablet will depend on the underlying condition being treated and how well you respond to the medicine. It is usually taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. It is essential to take the medication regularly at the same time every day, as prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms disappear quickly.

To help improve symptoms, it is advisable to eat smaller, more frequent meals and avoid caffeinated drinks like tea and coffee, as well as spicy or fatty foods. Common side effects of Razo 20 Tablet include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain. These side effects are usually mild, but if they persist or bother you, you should talk to your doctor.

Long-term use of Razo 20 Tablet (more than 1 year) may increase the risk of bone fractures, particularly at higher doses. Therefore, your doctor may recommend taking calcium and vitamin D supplements to prevent bone loss. Additionally, low blood magnesium levels (hypomagnesemia) have been observed in some people taking this medication for more than 3 months, which may lead to tiredness, confusion, dizziness, muscle twitches, and an irregular heartbeat. Therefore, your doctor may monitor your magnesium levels to prevent this.

Before taking Razo 20 Tablet, you should inform your doctor if you have severe liver problems, are taking medicines for HIV, have ever had an allergic reaction to similar medications in the past, or suffer from bone loss (osteoporosis). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medication. It is recommended to avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medication as it can worsen your symptoms. Finally, if Razo 20 Tablet makes you feel dizzy or sleepy, it is advised not to drive or use machinery or tools.
